Since 1951, Soil Consultants, Inc. has been actively engaged in engineering foundation exploration, soil studies and analyes, and the testing and inspection of soils, asphalt, concrete products, pile foundations, aggregates, and other construction materials and the installation of observation and monitor wells. Over the past fifteen years, Soil Consultants, Inc. has conducted Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments throughout the state of South Carolina.

Our staff consists of approximately forty employees including Professional Engineers, Professional Geologists, field and technical personnel. A number of our technicians are certified by NICET, ACI, AWS, and ICC (click for Inspectors).

Soil Consultants, Inc. is a member of the American Council of Independant Laboratories and maintains membership in ASTM, ACI, and Union Internationale Des Laboratories, Independents. In addition, professional staff hold memberships in ASCE, NSPE, the South Carolina Society of Engineers, the Charleston Civil Engineers Club, AWS, the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing, the American Institute of Professional Geologists, ASTM International, the Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Industry, the American Society for Quality, and the Geology Society of America.
